Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist*
Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA) combines Blind Spot Detection (BSD) with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to help prevent the vehicle from colliding into vehicle in the adjacent lane or coming from behind when driver switches lanes.
AEB with Junction Assist*
Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) uses the front view camera and front radar to detect vehicles, pedestrians & cyclists in front of the vehicle. If it detects a possible collision the system warns the driver with audio & visual alerts and automatically engages the brakes to help prevent or minimise the effects of collision.
Junction Assist detects oncoming cars when turning right at an intersection and applies the brakes if detecting a possible collision.
Rear Cross-traffic Collision Avoidance Assist*
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) warns the driver with audio & visual alerts when detecting vehicles approaching from either side of the Carnival when reversing.

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) automatically changes the set speed of the Speed Limiter or Smart Cruise Control (after confirmation by the driver) by using the speed limit information detected through the front view camera.

High beam assist
When High Beam Assist (HBA) detects headlights of oncoming cars, tail lights in front of the Carnival or there is enough ambient lighting, it will automatically turn off to prevent blinding other drivers. It will also automatically turn on in low ambient lighting.

Advanced Smart Cruise Control*
Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC) maintains the set speed specified by the driver while maintaining a safe distance from a vehicle in front if present.
ASCC will require driver intervention if the vehicle in front is stationary for more than 3 seconds.
360° Around View Monitor*
Using 4 cameras installed around the vehicle, the Around View Monitor activates when reversing to provide a 360° view around the Carnival for easy parking.

Driver Attention Alert+ with Lead Vehicle Departure
Driver Attention Alert (DAA) monitors the driver’s driving patterns and if there are signs of driver fatigue or inattentive driving, DAA recommends taking a break through audio & visual warnings.
Lead Vehicle Departure system notifies the driver when the vehicle in front is driving away when both vehicles are stationary, such as at a traffic stop.
Lane Following Assist*
Lane Following Assist (LFA) identifies the Carnival’s current lane and the lane boundaries using its front view camera and automatically assists with steering the vehicle to keep it in the middle of the lane whenever it detects that the vehicle is unintentionally veering out of the current lane.
